In fact its good that people expose their true nature like that, it saves months and years of wasted time and lots of heartache and frustration too.
The worst case is the expert liar who doesn't reveal his/her true nature until after the marriage.
And there are plenty of those around.

Well, what sounds intelligent to one person is not always intelligent to another.
If I don't feel like getting to farther know my first date, I don't plan a big night out, where there is no escape.
I mean, c'mon, we are all different and they are what they are - humans being themselves.
Can be annoying at times, yes, but that's a chance we are taking.
I personally just laugh it off.

I would say that people are different, with different issues. when a man starts filling me up like that, i take it to my advantage and i sit back and listern. in fact I encourage him to talk more and even ask honest questions. This way I get to understand what kind of a person this person is for my decision making just incase. This has saved me many times while I would have fallen a victim.

I do the same for two reasons: I know he's not for me so why should I get in a discussion with him; secondly, even though he's a narcissist, I don't want to hurt his feelings, so I go with the flow and get out of there as soon as I finish my coffee.
