Drunken Texts/Phone Calls. . (8)

A very drunk friend of mine was out sunday night and decided to break up with the guy she was dating at the time, so she rang him to cancel plans they have for the coming weekend and tell him she was doen with him.

Last night she got a text saying: (she forwarded it to me so I can tell you word for word)

Hi drunk girl, I decided to give you a few days to recover before i rang to inform you of what happened. You rang me saturday night to break up with me and although I understand why your breaking up with me "you had the wrong number". So you still have plans with him for saturday night...


Oh the shame of it....

Don't ya just hate those cringing morning/few days after flashbacks where you find out what a plonker you've made of yourself (again).

A few weeks ago I went out for a few pints after a trade union meeting with a few of the other union members. I ended up having 5 pints, which is a lot for me. That was the same night where I left an unintelligible comment on here about Ali Hewson and Bono. I found out the next morning that I had sent a text afterwards to one of the guys in the pub with me. I didn't have my phone set up to keep sent messages at the time, so to this day i have absolutely no idea what I wrote in the text.

He's a guy that I have fierce time for, so I hope I said nothing daft. I texted him afterwards to tell him to ignore anything I might have said but it was still embarrassing.

Another night after a few pints I sent a text to a girl I used to like asking her if she had any single friends because I was lonely.

A few months ago I was seeing a guy who had the same first name as another ex. I mistakenly sent one an amorous text which was meant for the other one. In my drunken state I couldn't see the initial of the surname . The fiancee of the guy who received the text phoned me the next day angrily wanting to know what was going on between me and him
