My son and I hiking, camping, and backpacking the Grand Canyon when he was 15. We took a vacation package to see 8 National Parks out West. After that a Resort/Spa in Sedona with massages and catering to all my whims....I needed it after that trek!

Also, our vacation to Washington DC one summer when he was 12.

Last September and October I took a six week RV trip up the east coast to see if I would like to travel by myself. I found I could enjoy being alone and travelling by myself. I played golf many, many times. I visited quite a few historical sites. This trip set the stage for all of my future trips. I will remember it as a new beginning!

Maybe I worded it wrong, it was SAF or Space A Flight...I was a civilian married to a warrant officer at the time.

Ohhhh I see, yeah I was under the impression that MAC flight were exclusively available to military personel as well as their families. Oh well....Umm my most memorible vacations would be the crusie I went on the Bahamas last summer. It was a blast, however Hawaii is amazing too I've been once but really want to go back soon!

After my wife died my son and I went to Europe. Both of us didn't want to be home for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a fantastic trip. Nothing nicer than re-connecting to your son! I will remember Rome as a place I was lucky enough to enjoy life again with someone I love.
