Now if we find out stuff anyhoo......why do we need reporters and pay them high prices to tell us stuff we gonna find out anyhoo.
The prez. could get more done rather than going to press conferences.
Firemen could put out the fires with less trouble. police could save lives easier and not be worn out answering reports.

The change to which you refer would not happen overnight, therefore time would allow for the training and then replacement of a new regime of reporters.
Besides, there will always be noisy people only too happy to pass on gossip
