I went to dining in the dark, Its a restaurant in Londen, and it does excatly what it says on the tin!! The darkness really heightens your other sences, and i would think that it would let down your gaurd a bit for a date.

Id give it a shot anyhoo....


Oh and if anyone ever gets a chance to go that place in London you should, its an amazing experience, my advice order the chief special

Would be a fun idea for the Cork meet to turn off the lights once everyone has had a few drinks! Could be interesting!!!

The place I went to was total darkness, when you go into the restaurant there is a small bar where there is lighting and lockers, like gym lockers and you have to put all light emitting things into the lockers, like phones cameras and watches. Then you place your order, you get a choice of a Green, Red, Blue and white menu.....thats it, you just pick a coulor you dont know what the 3 courses are. ( well the green is veg, blue fish, red meat, and white is the chefs special) Then a blind, yes blind waiter brings you into a diffenert room, where there is total darkness, he seats you down and you have to just feel around the table for your cutlery, its suprising how acustom you get to the other sences so quickly.

When the food comes out the darkness really hightens your taste its great.


I cant tell you what the chefs special is, becase Id hate to ruin it for anyone that goes......its a suprise!!
