Phoenix: Folks I'm not sure where to post this...dating & relating...or here in the lounge. Only becasue it could go off on a tangent of it's own...
Basically two people from two very different back grounds meet...be it socially, religious beliefs, music....what ever but for what ever reason they click...Then two people from the same 'kind off ' back ground meet and they repel each other..
A bit like placeing two magnets together...If you try to place the two poles together they repel but the minute you reverse the polarity they stick together....

dumb short fat and ugly : I don't think so
Seriously Phoenix it's all chemical and it sometimes seems that it's opposite but I read somewhere once that it is certain chemical mixes that are different to our own that attract to assure no inbreeding in our species. How romantic huh
oposites do attract but weather it actually works out is a diffrent story in the end 
If it comes to attitudes and values, and intellectual communication, I think people opposite in this respect in any case will not hit it off.
