Shining ever so bright
His eyes radiate and I am compelled
To meet his gaze
To search his eyes for some sign
A spark of recognition
His words are mine and I'm amazed
He speaks them, whispering truths
I thought only I knew
How does he know- can he see it in my eyes?
Ideas entwine, excitement, passion
With every syllable, every thought
I feel him searching
looking deep within my soul for a sign

Anticipating

Intrigued and captivated
Im drawn to his energy, more curious
With the passage of time
Hoping for that recognition
That moment
When everything falls
Into place and I know – I can see it in his eyes
