So , here is the dilema................

My job is about to take another direction , which means more hours ( more money too ).

The dilema i have is my 2nd job , also my hobby. Its getting busier , and i am unable to do a lot of things like order parts , and get postage quotes whilst the transport companies are open ( too big for aust post ) and seems as i'll be working overtime and they will all be shut by the time i finish , which of course ultimately means i dont sell things , and seems as im saving for a house , this becomes a big problem for me ( anyone buying a house as a single person would maybe know my dilema )

what can i do ( if at all ) to ease the pressure im under trying to keep the cash from the 2nd job rolling in .

blondeaozichick: can you ever give anyone any sensible advice

I think he needs serious advice.. not attempts at humour drivel

my neighbor's out the back, they've got a nice chinese couple staying with them (back packer's)....back packer's arn't all bad, they're reponsible and know how to cook and clean, and they don't have to hang around forever, plus you get to know about other people's culture's....i don't know, that's something i'd consider for sure....

its actually not the cash thats the problem getting plenty of that, its the lack of time in the day to get things done..

Live by myself , enjoy it ( as in zero flatmates.. relationship always welcome ), so i dont need a boarder

bourbons post has merit , if i had a partner , they may be able to help with the time situation , but then again , i still am time limited , and dont know many females that wouldnt be happy with limited "bf" time ( tired , having hard time putting intelligible sentences together )

You say the 2nd job is your hobby. Is your intention that one day the 2nd job will be your primary source of income??

First and foremost money is money, you want to save for a house, so you need the money from the first job.

If you forsee the 2nd job becoming a business one day then you also need to maintain your good business name. Perhaps you can get a trusted person to assist with the transport issues, ie phone calls etc. You may well find that if you restructure this 2nd job, you may be able to have someone pop past 1 or 2 times a week (for an hour or so)and make the transport bookings for you.

Dont forget the internet is an important tool that you can access during your breaks. Can you make your bookings over the net/email/fax???

Hope that helps..

I tell people I'm psycho, I mean psychic but they don't believe me.
Actually the 'INCOMING' was referring to the bomb that I thought might be headed my way... lol
