My thoughts on going to the meets is to make friends first and see how things go. I did meet up with someone at my first CS meet but it didnt work out.

Still looking wink

Well, I've actually had a date on here and we had a great day but I consider most of the girls on here to be friends and I'd be wary about risking a friendship by taking it further. I know, I've been told already...I think too much.laugh

kidatheart: So true, unfortunately.

I'm just interested in meeting people as friends for now, possibly more if we were to hit it off in person. Just can't do the guessing game anymore, wondering what's really going on at the other end of line.

Hey Harry .. good to see you

the guessing game is the worst i hate that...

i feel that there is so much choice that its like being on a list and if u dont fit the ctiteria then your off..and without a word too so it gets to the stage where i dont bother .. whats the point..

For most mature people (on a dating site) it wouldnt be a bad idea to take a risk in asking them out if that is how you feel about them. If you would prefer to be more than friends with a woman on this site, why dont you go for it. After all, she is here to find a relationship, just like you. This is just a starting point, not the whole affair.

I agree about BB 200%. I don't know if it's an age thing but I don't seem to find the motivation. But to be honest, like a lot of others, I wonder if I still belong on this site. I seem lately to be waiting for things to go go back the way they used to be but now I sense that like last year's , those days have gone forever.blues blues blues

I don't know dude... I think there is a renewed positivity here recently, and so far as dating goes, I think with a bit of effort and the fact that so many people are long time friends here... Who is to say what might happen...?

Sorry Karen. Didn't mean to depress you. It's only beacause of the kindness and selflessness of you and a few others who have put so much into this site, that I am still here. Belles Spells Rool OK!yay

you didnt depress me at all Keith part of me agrees with you but the past is the past for a reason .. possibly to teach us where we went wrong and to change what we can do now and in the future..

ah good old belles spells .. god that was a hoot.. i still laugh thinking about it.. but those days are not gone in fact they could be far closer than you think laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh
