workwell: thats some judgemental statement maybe when she starts in this school she will see them banging up or snorting coke children learn from there parents so a good parent means a good child sure it does not matter were kids go to school

Gimmey mack sharina,thats a lot of costs,my daughter goes into second year at her college,though her unifrom,including shoea,runners and p.e uniform,would have cost about 200.then when she gets back into school they pay 10 pounds towards locker,and thats it.

I see your point,i do believe no matter what school kids go to,the temptation is there for kids,i see it in derry often,no matter if a child goes to grammar r secondary school,they still can get up to what they want to.But as far as saying it all starts at home,,in a certain degree your right,though not fully,we as parents can only guide and direct our children,to the value of life etc,its then their decision to take what path they want,and as society has a lot of temptations out there now for our young ones,its easy for them to fall of the rail at times,but this has nothing to do with what school they went to,or their home life,it has to do with society,the way it is today,and also the peer presure of being cool in the company they r in etc,jmo

More nonsence... peer pressure is rife in schools, particularly between girls. pressure to have 'stuff' or wear certain brand named clothes, drinking alcohol or doing drugs or smoking so as not to be known as the square.
