The info I found did say that TSALI perferred to be killed by 3 of his own people.

Both mtngypsy828 and bestbefore are correct. mtngypsy was first and therefore wins.

Tsali was holding up the forced march to OKLA.
The government of Andrew Jackson promised that if Tsali and his sons would surrender and die the persecution of the remaining Eastern Band would cease.
Perhaps the only promise Jackson ever kept.
Tsali and his sons--one a small boy--were shot by firing squad....
And the Trail Of Tears began.....

1.Three bushels of organic sweet corn.
2.Two quarts of wild Scuppernong Wine.
3.One large Pumpkin--organic of course.
