It is always hard to fix a wrong with someone you care about. People (friends and family) often think they know what is best, but they do not know all of the feelings and other things involved in a relationship. The best advice I can give is try to say I am sorry and mean it, then explain why you made the mistake. Talking is one of the most important things in a relationship, but it is often hard to make yourself talk about important issues.
