Two legged skunks have always been more of a problem than four legged ones.

That might be so, but I had to bath a few dogs after they were skunked and it's pretty rough. I believe I would rather deal with the difficult people. I can wash them off easier.

A wild skunk does not want to spray you. They just want to be left along to eat bugs, garbage and the like. They will give fair warning before they spray and will scurry off without letting fly if you back away and give them room enough to do so.
Many two legged skunks on the other hand enjoy causing a stink. They want others to suffer and delight in it. They will go out of their way to stink up your life.
The lesser ones can be handled like the wild skunk; stay out of their way and don't make any sudden movements towards them and they will not stink you up as badly.
The point we were trying to get across to the young woman was you are going to get some of the smell from the human skunks but, less if you don't tick them off.

I've never tried one or the other ,but being in close enough proximity to do either will get you the same result, not to mention a possible bite. UH, if you ever try it keep us posted on the outcome.
