Expansion of the universe and the scientific marvels of the holy Quran.. ( Archived) (23)

On numerous occassions, people,from both left and right,have rejected and maligned islam and the quranic truth for ages fairly or unfairly....some people have done so because of their sheer arrogance while some have done so due to the restriction of their 'religious' beliefs and faith. Some people have rejected islam because, according to them, it is a 'man-made' religion while some other have rejected it because they believe that islam is nothing but a plagiarized religion. Be that as it may,however, people will probably find some scientific truths of highest order should they take a little time to study the holy quran with an objective mind while also matching those discoveries with the quranic texts. For example...

Let us look at Noble Verse 51:47 "And the firmament, We constructed with power and skill and verily We are expanding it.". The Universe according to the Noble Quran will keep expanding and changing until the Day of Judgment.

The Universe will also shrink: "The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. (The Noble Quran, 21:104)"

The Galaxies of the Universe will all explode: "And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh ROSY-LIKE PAINT - (The Noble Quran, 55:37)"

Now the question one may ask is how was it possible for somebody to come up with those cosmological marvels before more than 1400 years when the concrete information on the nature of universe didn't come until 1973, as it is stated below..

"The universe starts with a Big Bang, expands to a maximum dimension, then recontracts and collapses (to the Big Crunch); no more awe-inspiring prediction was ever made." Quotation from Charles W. lol...for the sake of debate, even if i agree with you, has science disproved the fact that the universe is expanding?

And by the way, i didn't really try to prove the big bang theory with religion anywhere in my thread. i guess you just assumed i did so.

ok....fair enough. once again, the universe is expanding and my question is has anybody or any scientific discoveriese proved that the universe is not expanding?
