Amen I couldnt have said it any better. Good ole southern hospitality. We are kinda to the side of mainstream society and a good portion of us texan men remember how we were brought up. Now with good ole ocean there he is very insecure ( i hope i spelled it wrong ) and insecure people look for problems with others to either feel hes better than others or in hopes some lady would see what hes doing as a strength. God has a habit of dealing with the pridefull

I didn't say all Texans are poorly educated or stupid, on the other hand this person who doesn't need to be handed a line that Texas guys are any more special than those from other states. She's paying money to come here and might as well know the truth. We are pretty much like everyone else - and in a couple of areas somewhat below the rest of the country.
I live on the ocean and at least try to make things better-serving on the school board and helping kids improve their scores. We have one of the better school districts, however many of our children can not communicate effectively.

Hi There I am way too old for you but I am a Texas man. Yes Texans are nice folks I was away from Texas for 22 years and came back two years ago. I am so happy I did. Texas are basickly good people but of course it matters what kind of people you run around with and you always have your ten percent. So come on down and enjoy our beautiful state.

um Ocean...no one here really cares about making accurate spelling and grammar usage. In emails and texts a ,large percentage of people use short hand and or other words to get their point across. We're here to connect...not go back to school; IF you were my teacher I would leave your class becuase you are defensive, uninspirational and negative. I think it's kind of sad that you need to vindicate these feelings that have spured you on to make these remarks. Hate and intolerance are like poison...and it's the reason, I am very sure, that you have little to no true friends in your life. Yes, maybe family and relations but no true friends. Our friends are mirrors of our selves and different aspects of our inner nature. They share in your joys, triumphs and heartbreaks...and your turmoil in life. I am not trying to attack you or anything. I just want to get it across that you need adjust your tune. Stop nick-picking and looking for errors and faults...just look for the good and acknowledge the bad...and accept it for what it is.
Ok honestly im A true blue Texan.. yes im young but still i know what it means to be Texan. We know manners, Loyalty, and Respect. Yes we dip but don't spit in front of women. Yes we smoke a little more than others but heck who cares. And funny thing is you will prolly be safe as ever being with a Texas man cause we all carry firearms LOL. And no one disrespects our women and get away with it that's for sure. I was raised with the thought of hitting a lady to be the act of the devil lol and i will never tolerate it! hey me too! yes they are! I visited before I decided on which college to go to and everyone was really nice if a bit wierd-ish...you'll know what I am talking about when you get there.

I do not post everyone's spelling mistakes- there are some people who are totally illiterate. Many of us make mistakes - we are in a rush or too lazy to look back. Some people however really should be spending some time in adult education classes. You should be able to tell the difference. Lena could not write ONE correct sentence, that's sad.
I've probably made 20 posts here in a year or two. So no, I don't spend much time here. I said in many of them I am NOT LOOKING.
You have to be able to read -- before you write.
Having said that - I hope I answered the OP's question and explained the demographics of Texas Males and their differences and similarities with the rest of the country. You were too worried about the spelling to comment.
