SummerUK: As we all know our American friends get bashed more than any other nation. This thread is to thank them for happy memories I have as a child.

I was just cleaning up in the lounge and 'Paint your Wagon' was on a classic movies channel.

It made me think of the times when I was young and all the movies I would watch. Especially sunday afternoon after a big roast dinner with Yorkshire puds lol Sitting with my parents watching Doris Day or Bing Crosby. Soooo many to mention.

Of course there Disney and all the beautiful movies that made me dream of being a Princess waiting for my Prince

(Errrrr still waiting for that one)

Anyway, this is just to thank them and for anyone else who wishes to do so.

Could be anything at all. Not neccesarily movies. USA in my opinion has contributed in so many good ways to my life.
Any bashing will result in being turfed

hug

Went to the movies when it first came out.... going to the flicks was a big event because we had to travel 20 miles to do so.
It was always a treat.

Clint sang .... I talk to the trees, that why they put me away !

or something similar !

It could be, if thats what you want to hear. It could even be some of the R rated passages from the bible. Song of Soloman. The only part of the bible I ever went back to when I found it.bouquet
