I know a lot of us watch movies with our kids (at least I do) and since I have a 10 yr old daughter who I enjoy cuddling up on the couch with (since I can't find a man to put there laugh )

My two movie reviews are as follows...

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Featuring Manny, Sid, Diego and Ellie thumbs up thumbs upthumbs up

and

"UP"
Featuring Carl, Russel, Doug and Kevin. thumbs up thumbs up

You might want to check the real reveiws on the main websites for the recommended ages. But I know my 10 yr old, my 20 yr old and I enjoyed both movies tremendously!! (don't tell...but I cried on both)

Here's a couple movies my youngest daughters really enjoyed...

Dreamer (2005)
Inspired by a true story. Rated PG.

A man and his young daughter face almost impossible odds as they struggle to help an injured horse return to the racetrack in this family-friendly drama.
Starring Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Kris Kristofferson.
~~~
August Rush (2007)
Rated PG for some thematic elements, mild violence and language.
Estranged from his parents by circumstance and nudged toward a foster family, a young boy seeks out his long-lost folks and discovers prodigious musical talent in this family-oriented drama.
Starring Freddie Highmore, Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Terrence Howard, Robin Williams.
My 1-year old grandson usually ignores movies, but will sit silent and enthralled when we put in Wall-E.
My 4-year old granddaughter loves Robots, The Reef, Bee Movie, anything with Shirley Temple, The Parent Trap (original), The Trouble with Angels. She recently took a liking to the Cube movies. She also loves Hidalgo, The Day After Tomorrow, King Kong, and the old Godzilla movies.
"UP" was really good too...very funny but made me cry at the beginning and the end. blues So sad in the beginning...but at the end it was due to the love shown between the old man and boy. hug Yes, i'm a sap for a good kid movie.
