Sundown40: I do feel for you!! When my daughter goes to her dads...it's really too quiet and lonely.
But this weekend i have both my daughters staying with me...one that lives with me...and the one that moved out and married. And for some reason...i still can't go to sleep.

my three girls go to their dad every weekend and i do welcome the time sometimes to get stuff done and just to have have some me time......but i have been traveling alot lately and it seems as soon as i get back and settle down the weekend comes and off the are to their dad......the week is busy with school and work and all the other rigors of life and its times like now when i wish they were here. plus i am going through some personal emotional stuff to i guess that adds to why im here feeling sorry for myself.

Awwwhhh sweetie.
I know how you feel. Seems they get the good times and we get the run here...run there...off to school for 8 hrs they go...hard to spend good quality time with them during the week. At least my daughter only spends Wednesday and Thursday nights...and all day on Saturday....but the rest of her time is mine

exactly !!! i really do not get any weekends with them....but its a joying having being here in the morning to get them ready for school ....and being at home with them at least four out of five school night to help with homework, sit and have dinner and just to catch up a little. not much time in the evenings but we make the best of the limited time and we have fun.
