86 Mexico.....Quarter Finals.....Argentina won 2-1. Went on to beat Germany in a dirty final if i remember rightly. Same two teams played in the 1990 final. Germany won that one though.
Would have been handy if Domenech agreed to a reply just like the rest of the French team (bar Evra)

Pity we couldn’t harness all of this positive protesting of an injustice, and turn it on the Government that are destroying the country. There seems to me to be more of an united outrage over a football match than there is against some of the political decisions being made at the moment.
yeah ,,,fair duece to the guys protesting,,,wish i was closer to Dublin,,, its not totally in vain,, or anger is been heard,,,, but there will be no replay,,, personally i think Herny should get a five match ban,,,which would exclude "him" from the world cup ,,,, all the french team should'nt now suffer coz he cheated,,, even if unintentionally

probably coz most of the pple that have put the country in the state its in,, are staunch fianna failer supporters,,, i.e builders,developers,bankers, land speculaters,and so on,and are gunna get away with it,so there be no protesting by them

i reckon we should probably forget about the replay but i dont think its impossible. the irish should concentrate on video referee being introduced and a change of rules and corruption in fifa
