So... I'm quite stuck at the moment, possibly some of my fellow Sydney-ites can help out. Basically I'm in the market for a place to rent and not quite sure where I want to go.
The long and short of it, the place has to be QUITE close to the Sydney CBD, max about a 10-15 minute commute(im doing about 1:40 in peak hour atm), decent atmosphere, and I need at least 1 parking space. Property size doesn't bother me, frankly I'm happy with a studio (if its nice!).
The only things that are coming with me is a few bits of furniture, appliances and 2 or 3 motorbikes (probable just 2 so I can fit in 1 car space).
Price im happy with anything upto $500 p.w including electricity, preferable around the 300-400 range though. I'd love a nice apartment, but having a bit of space is always nice too.
Go Newtown Its a great suburb you can get a nice 1 bed studio for under $300.00pw The bus into the city is like 10 minutes gr8 pubs plenty of arty types I love newtown plus you got the music !!!
ps based on this hot tip when i hit syd I get sofa crash & grazing rights Kizzy
