One may begin to worship a lamp-post for some reason in his or her faith…, and looking at it sarcasticallyyay, another one may worship a ‘Bo’ tree or some other structure... One may worship the son and the moon..., and laughing at it tongue, another one may worship a statue or a cross...

When faith has no logical background, it is easy for the faithful followers to follow it and others to see it as a faith. When faith has or seems to have some logical or scientific background, it makes things difficult confused for the followers and others as well because the followers may try to thrust frustrated their faith upon others using science and logic.

This borders on a definition of Evangelical Christianity.
Doesn't work for them.Yet they persist.Perhaps they have to.

logic is not universal..faith is determined by religion/boundries.....Some (Many) have believed that genocide is a way of obtaining faith...yeah I can understand that...(.NOT MY BELIEVE) Seriously, I do not believe we can find the sides of life ..that give life a meaning..unless of course your meaning involves...make money from him/her/them/cyberspace/ the means to the belief/faith is unfortunately ... universally illogically, logical....supersize me..!!!!

Faith is faith, not needing any physical element to prove it, or back it up. Faith is knowledge, wisdom itself.handshake

Faith to me is about a personal relationship with a higher power of our own conception. If no two people are the same, then neither can two relationships be the same with either a spiritual or a physical being.

I would separate faith from religeon. This seems to be where we all differ and the belief system which works for me, may not work for anyone else.

Do you think, or believe it is a concept, has you said, "of our own conception."; or a truth, a fact of a personal experience, an action which proved the words, the teachings of others. I know that throughout my youth the lessons of faith were daily taught to me, but my faith was not of those teachings, instead it was of my innocence has a child. I was indestructable, I could do anything, and it was only those teachers who told me I couldn't. I learned that I could not, just as I learned the time when to get out of bed in the morning, what I HAD to do during the day, and when it was time to go to bed. Structured faith of human conception, with its limitations of time in which we faithfully go about our business.

This does make for a good conversation, so I thought to just throw that out. handshake
