I grew up Catholic, and never bought into all of this. I went to First Confession, came home, and told my father not to ever ask me to do that again because I wouldn't do it, it was against my beliefs. When I turned 40 and discovered Paganism, I discovered that I'd truly been born with a Pagan heart.

As we all were.
It's odd that grown up priests/nuns/ministers still buy into and try to involve others in such irrational ideas.
I heard the Pope just released a paper that allows Anglicans (apparently disenchanted with some anglican ideals) to now become Catholics. Instant admission into the lie. How old is the is this guy? Really.
On the other hand, its the way most people went for so long in any and all religions trying to create power in separationist theory.

Ah, don't even get me started on that one, Prana. I know a lot of what the early Church did to make people tow the line, and get the money and power they attained...and I don't want to turn your thread into a history lesson or a war of the religions.

I like Walsch as you know but his beliefs still use the word God which is why I cant get into his form of Pantheism - it is one of the better usages of the word but still implies superstition...... we do not need theology to live good and meaningful lives and it is a form of theology that he pushes, its just modernised to appeal to a wider audience.......

Ya unfortunately these nouveau spiritual guys do use the old word, in hopes of not offending believers. It is however a universal god of one, all of us, all of life, energy/matter, god is one, god is consciousness, we are god, we are the higher self and I think (not sure) that he took his works from the original Law Of One, because a lot of works are done later and seem to me to be plagiarized ....seemingly, I say.
That is enough proof for me! I mean, if there was no god there would be no McDonalds NO French fries, apple pies or big macs! and I don’t feel guilty for eating any of them on Sunday!
