SusanBoyle: ...Just wondering do a lot of women feel uncomfortable sending the first message to a man??...Ive had a lot of females who look but dont send a message...now I know that they just may not like what they have seen...Ive looked at profiles and not sent a message - you cant send a message to everybody and they may be further away than you would like, not of interest to you personality-wise with the things they have put in there profile....or, you may just find them unattractive....and that's fine...

While it is nice to receive messages, I have no problem sending a message first. I have found that I have had to develop a though skin, once you see that your message has been read and the recipient has viewed your profile but decided not to reply, you cant take it personally, just move on.

Of course women prefer that the men make the first move, it’s more of a security thing with us women unless the woman is more direct in approaching a guy which happens a lot. But to know for sure what women are thinking you should send them a note and simply ask them.
