I went to see Chris Rock two years ago in the Olympia as part of the Bulmers Comedy festival and didn't think he was as funny live as he was on tv. He didn't seem to adapt any his jokes for the place he was in - Ireland. It was like he thought he was still in America so some of his jokes were lost on some of the audience.
For me, i think Neil Delamere is my favourite. I've been to see him live twice and he put on a great show each time.

Aww thats a bummer.........Good comedians are able to adapt to the audience and obviously he did not do his homework.....either that or he couldn't be arsed.....

Yeah exactly. It looked too much like he didn't do his homework. I think it always helps to win over the audience if you show you can relate to them and put in something in a few jokes about the area etc. He didn't do it that night and it just kinda put me off. I do still think he's a good comedian though
