I seen my doctors office prescribe that to one patient just recently, and I have seen it shown on one of the big talk shows.so apparently it does work.

Prescribed? I got a brand called ayr (squeeze type bottle- easier to use) for less than $9 at the grocery store and came with 100 packets.. Yea works great.. Definitely worth trying

Sure it was still over the counter, but a doctor will prescribe over the counter stuff if he thinks it is best.
