How many of you understand that the Bush family made their fortune in oil? It is in there best interest to keep wars going againt the Mid-East. By being the the war Mongers for USA The Bush family becomes from billionaires to multi-Billionaires. AS Carlos Mansia would say DOU Doh Da! Dont mind me. Im just a scientist.
The problem the gas prices are going up is due to the fact that US fields -cannot- keep up with the supply, and it has to come in from another place besides the middle east. That's completely counterproductive considering they own the oil, not the gas companies. Simple logic and 20 seconds of thinking about it will give you the same conclusion.
Here is one for you. His great gradfater made a furtune selling guns to both sides of the civil war and was convicted of war time rackatering. Side note The guns were all dudes and unuseable.
If you want further proof contact me and I will prove it.
History will see this Bush as a criminal as well and that future is soon.
Changes has to begin with ourselves .. a smaller car .. lower fuel consumption , better public transport .. getting a job near home .. There will come a time when petrol stations will be the things of the past .
And perhaps with better education we could produce better politicians . Takes time

i think you have hit the nail on the head as i to belive that the bush administration is using the current climate to obtain oil. one thing we have to take in to account is that like the us the asia will also one day run out of oil so isnt it time that bush and the rest of the world concentrated more on creating more renewable energy. ok im not saying that oil is the only reason you know but it is the driving force behinp the iraq and afganistan invasions as they currently have mre crude oil then any other

ok so we do need to change i totally agree. but think about it for a moment change may go someway in slowing down the wests need for oil but i t wont stop it. sooner or later we will be back in this position as reducing our needs wont prevent oil running out ultimatly we will be back here in 30 years having the same debate so why not try and end it now and make peace dudes
ok...more thought provocation.....the alberta tar sands.... now that it has come out that there is a great deal more oil there... does anyone see this as a boon for the north american continent through cheap oil for Canada and the U.S. not to mention a Canada with the potential to become as wealthy as kuaite or saudi arabia?
The biggest problem here folks is, oil is sold to the highest bidder and it does not matter who's oil it is, or was. Our governments sold out our energy resources many moons ago..
I wouldn't be surprised if the Saudi's own half of the oil under our own feet...
