Well i basically have been a volunteer the last 5 yrs doing gardening for the elderly. I also spent some time on a twelvetribes community gardening as a wwwoofer. willing worker on organic farm ... Right now i am bored taking care of mom but i am planning on doing some volunteer work in the city of phila as soon as i get a truck and but an old shell. That will be a few months from now though. I want to open a homeless shelter. I did open 4 of them from 2001 to 2004 in NYC upstate NY and Conn and Minnesota. I am also a vietnam vet and want to offer housing to them and i would love to get a farm someday so they and me could live there helping one another. I am friends with Nadia at veteransvilliage . Right now i am relaxing cooking for mom and her 80 yr old roommate and making sure she eats right to keep her from getting any more kidney stones in her remaining kidney.

I always remember my dad had a really nice simple CANE walking stick from Uganda.
I broke his favourite walking stick on the back of a vicious dobermann in the Congo who was attacking my puppy...... a German Shepherd called 'Simba'.
