Mick Flannery has got a brilliant voice. Only know a couple of his songs but WHATTA VOICE! :)
Love the point in Who's gonna ride your wild horses just as the chorus comes in. Pity Bono went and got his God complex :S Great songwriter, shame about the man :D lol

Kenadams77: Hey. Not gettin involved enough in the threads so let's go. let me hear your opinions on the best Irish songs of the last, let's say 40 years. :)
Subject to change I'm goin with:
The Undertones: Teenage kicks The Four of Us: Mary Snow Patrol: Chasing Cars Aslan: This Is Bagatelle: Summer in Dublin
(This may be subject to more change than I thought!!!)
Well all those songs are good you have forgotten a few bands like Thin Lizzy. Boomtown Rats, Mamas Boys, Stiff Little Fingers, the early U2, Christy Moore, BellX1, here is my favourite song sung by an Irish legend
