minniemoo: ye'd probably have to get one to dub and then another down to kilkenny.....i know it was that way for me to go to carlow one time...pain in the you know what, unless there's a connecting one from limerick junction

bus is your best option, you would have to get train to kildare then wait for a train to kilkenny which is another hour and a half so you would be travelling all day

ye thats the best option be around two hours, it could take you 5 or 6 hours by train cos your having to go to kildare which is around 60 mile north of kilkennythumbs up
