The perfect post-parade party! Join us for the best pint of Guinness in Dublin, or a simple good auld cupán tae - free of charge to those whose feet are weary from walking parnell sq trying to glimpse the parade! And of course the finest entertainment from 5-piece country outfit The Blood Red Mountain Band.

If you're not already familiar with The Blood Red Mountain Band they can be described as:
MOONSHINE FOR YOUR EARS...Bar-brawlin' blisterin' hoedowns. Honest to goodness bluegrass love songs. All constructed from the finest country sunsets, broken hearts, and lost highways hidin' the burnt-out shells of journeys long forgotten...

“The band’s bluegrass vibes sit as comfortably alongside The Waltons as Jack White and Arcade Fire, so expect a good old-but-new do-si-do without having to don any gingham or sit atop prickly bales of hay. Accordians, mandolins, xylophones, melodicas, harmonicas, moonshine, a barn dance without the barn and a good cause to boot - what more could you ask for?"
Lucy White, METRO

did you know:

Irish musician and songstress Aisling Quinn has spent the last year or so working on her debut album showcasing songs which are a quirky and energetic infusion of jazz, pop, folk and blues. Her previous offerings have been praised by Hotpress Magazine as being "Hot Stuff" and have been applauded for "avoiding singer/songwriter cliches and offering us something less predictable".

In 2009 she composed the original music for a production of “Portia Coughlan” by Marina Carr which enjoyed a sell out run in The New Theatre, Temple Bar. Following this she supported Albert Niland on his Irish tour. In the summer of 2009 she acted in and wrote the original music for a successful production of "Medea Redux" which ran in the Bernard Shaw Beer Garden after which she supported Roesy on his Irish tour.
Autumn 2009 saw her returning to the stage to tour the production of 'Medea Redux' to the Galway Theatre Festival. Following which she began writing and arranging the music for a production of "The Clean House" by Sarah Ruhl which opened in November 09 in The New Theatre, Temple Bar.
With a band of merry musicians in tow staging quirky theatrical shows she is fast gaining recognition as a musician to be reckoned with!

Her debut album "Let the Games Begin" will be released later this year.

Support from Mark Flynn (The Blood Red Mountain Band)
