Maybe some of him may rub off on you as far as being nice to people goes.

OneKitty: They are. When that was initially put together here in the USA, it meant that the Church of England (or any other church) would not run the government. The people would run the government, govern themselves. Many people confuse what "separation of church and state" really means.



If the people govern the Country and a percentage of the people do not hold with religious views then perhaps it is not the correct thing to do to have a service in the house of the leader of the Country. A national day of prayer in itself I do not see as being a bad thing, but perhaps people could celebrate it in their respective churches.

Yes C. I read the link, but still a religious service all the same.

I am just asking the question in the grand scheme of things doesnt effect me at all.
