I read that using norton 360 with a vista system does not protect against Malware, It doesnt even recognize malware at all,
I have norton 360 and I`m running on vista and I visited a site a few days back that is supposed to be infected with malware, slight bit worried as I do my banking online and this malware can record can record your passwords and so forth, should I be worried?uh oh

first off try running the anti-virus and scan the whole C drive,
there are plenty of free programs on the web that allow you to scan for stuff.

A lot, but not all, malware and spyware sets itself to start up when your PC does.

There's a program called MSCONFIG which can help turn off some of this stuff, gives a pretty good explanation of how to proceed.

Before you make any changes, I'd say google each of the items to see if you need it or not, and good luck.

This might help as well with the items in the startup...
