I used the word "whammy" to demonstrate disappointment , so a "double whammy" = two disappointments....
So, in my posting I am saying that I am firstly disappointed that I could not get to Canada to see the lovely horses, and secondly disappointed because I also like men in uniform - such as the gorgeous Canadian Mounties (policemen) ....
