I half believe you..(in that you don't want Fergie's pensioners to over take the Wirral Wanderers in the title stakes)..but for a scouser to say he'd rather see the Russians beat them beggars belief..

any trophy kept in the north west of england is better off here than heading down south...shows us working class can still be winners even with less revenue...i dont think we should do chelsea any favours after r exits from champions league by them...i also feel feilding a weak squad will do us no favours...jus make us look more weak than we already been this season...

I dont get time to write many words, i have to go to work,clean the house, cook the dinner, walk the dogs, wash the truck, mow the grass, and go to Wal-Mart

No nor did Liverpool give up in 2005 in Istanbul but on that occassion and the others you mentioned they were one off games were they had fate in their own hands. I still maintain we could take 9 more point but will finish at best sixth. So hope Liverpool field the under nines against Chelski.
