i would like to hope so, but watching how governments are reacting to the issue, it seems unlikely. what do you think about it ? or is it better to just ignore it ? maybe it is a natural process.... who knows ..

In the 80's I advocated for preservation of the environment but nobody listened. 20 years later I know that no matter how much poison we produce, the Earth will survive. The nature have powers that humans, in their ignorance choose to dismiss. Earthquakes and volcanos' eruptions are just a couple of examples we - humans can't do anything about. It really doesn't matter if any government does or doesn't do anything. The matter is not about the environment surviving our piles of garbage and pollution, it's a matter of survival of a human kind. Looking at the human history that never really mattered much to any of us, why should now be any different.

I think it's a natural process, it's not little ol' us who's going to destroy this planet... Still, recycling is a sensitive thing to do if even to keep things clean and safe.
agree to the conclusion, we dont. but in regard to not being destructive... how about our record in exterminating other species, i think you cant argue that. thereby distroying the food piramide, which has obvious consequences.

It's obvious that Man's presence on Earth has had irreparable impact on the flora and fauna yet we must also acknowledge the impacts of other species on the environment. Studies have also shown that one species of animal could hunt another species to extinction. And let's not forget what killed the dinosaurs and most of the fauna in the Cretaceous period of the Earth.
