In response to 'Rate Obama' - how happy were you with Bushes?

Judging from all the youtubes you post, it's clear that you're just regurgitating the stuff you're being spoonfed and if you do that, you're accepting responsibility for their insanity because you're posting it as your own.

unfortunately, I have to agree. i find each one of you interesting and your posts worth to read if not to learn from. However, repeating or quoting somebody's else truth is very close or even exchangeable with admitting to being spoonfed - propaganda is a very powerful thing. These who work with commercials use this knowledge.

I would really hate to drop my own bubble created about Obama - but I'm open to hear and see other points of view, even if challenging to my bubble.

Nobody payed attention to my idea of recovering american economy by engaging in non-violent diet revolution. Is my proposal too radical or too simple? is talking different from eating - one uses mouth for either purpose

In response to 'Rate Obama' - how happy were you with Bushes?

really?

you don't like spending money on wars but you need your guns? and you say one governing body would be insane - where the heck have you escaped from?

The 3rd way:

go on a diet

Since the invention of food preservatives and money invested in 'poisonous food' industries the society became obese and sick. Food preservatives kill the enzyme in the small intestine that in turn is not able to 'sort out' nutrients from the garbage. Obesity is a major cause for health problems, including cancer and, well physical laziness. The research is focussed (by money available from sponsoring industries) on finding more chemicals to 'cure' and pay more for it instead on finding the actual cause and cure.

Stop eating and drinking junk, ladies and gents, that include so called organic food (if you don't buy it fresh from the farmer, it's not organic; if you don't squeeze your fruit, it's not a fresh juice, etc).

Simple and non-violent revolution that would cure society, refocus economy, and most of all take the real money from these few who're killing us all.

I'm going to start another poll re. this solution in an expectation of being totally ignored here. What's your thinking? a? teddybear

there is some nice voice of reason; yesterday's market news proved your pointthumbs up that makes me wonder how and if you'r statement would have any impact on this discussion - my better judgement: no sad flower

In response to 'Rate Obama' - how happy were you with Bushes?

I wish I've kept myself 'civilized' in my previous statements so I could make into this part of this discussion, well too late for that now...... is it too late for the american people as well to 'sober up', make the wars stop, and elect a government that would make a difference for all of us? (that is including the planet)

In response to 'Rate Obama' - how happy were you with Bushes?

there is not such a thing as 'us' as a country, there is only a # of individuals sharing half of a continent, being exposed to comercialism and propaganda that is stiring in one direction - away from reality; there is you and I but there is no 'us' ..... unless there is a charismatic hero to put you and I into us. when that happens grate change takes place

RE: do we still have time to mend our environment ?

In the 80's I advocated for preservation of the environment but nobody listened. 20 years later I know that no matter how much poison we produce, the Earth will survive. The nature have powers that humans, in their ignorance choose to dismiss. Earthquakes and volcanos' eruptions are just a couple of examples we - humans can't do anything about. It really doesn't matter if any government does or doesn't do anything. The matter is not about the environment surviving our piles of garbage and pollution, it's a matter of survival of a human kind. Looking at the human history that never really mattered much to any of us, why should now be any different.

RE: The First Half of our lives

I think that the first 10 years of our lives we learn all there is about love; the second 10 years we believe we know everything there is about love, and the rest of our lives we spent trying to reclaim what we knew for the first 10 years. That is of course if we're wise enough to know it wine

RE: how can ya fall in love if ya never met

how can ya fall in love if ya never met

easy!!!!

love, like every other emotion, happens between one's ears, not legs like some want to believe. if you think you're in love you are in love. It could be even more convoluted, some people are in love with the idea of being in love and they don't even need to know the other person as she/he exists in their imagination. After the wedding the only thing to do is to make the real person to fit the preexisting idea - well, this is a different topic.heart wings

RE: I want to help a friend after her operation

I would suggest an uncommon dialog - 'Conversations with God' by Neale Walsch, book 1. It's not what you assume it is and it's not about what you'd frowned about thinking that it was.
