Catholic practices and the secret (19)
harveymexicali: I am talking here about "the secret" by Rhonda Byrne, I think alot of it is used by Catholics and I have used this method for sometime with great results.
The method is to ask for what you want and to turn it over to the universe. In the Catholic way it is to ask for something and say a rosary. The Secret says to ask believe you have recieved and then recieve. It says you need the feeling of having it now and you will attract it, the key is to make your subconcious believe that you have it already and it will manifest.
The Catholic way is to ask God what you want then say a series of prayers, mostly hail marys and concentrate on different mysteries of the bible.
My opinion is that by turning over something to your subconcious mind then concentrating on bible mysteries you are taking your concious mind off the problem and letting your subconcious mind solve it for you. The subconcious is directly connected to the universal mind or God. So things manifest and are changed because of this process.
I have had success using both of these methods, one day a woman called me and said she needed a ride to the hospital because her daughter woke up and could not see, I told her I would be there in 40 minutes to drive her. I sat in a chair and imagined the girl was perfectly healthy for 10 minutes, then called the woman back and she said the little girl regained her sight, she was checked out to be fine, I never told the woman what I did, using the rosary one day I could not find a house to live in and as soon as I was done a call came a house was available on the next block, many other event happend similar to these.
Any problem needs to be taken from the physical plane to the spiritual and solved.
