meemer: For me a perfect date would be a bite to eat and a comedy gig. somewhere like vicar st. i was there recently with friends and i saw a few couples on an obvious first date but its a great place to relax and have a laugh!
I'm not a big fan of comedy gigs for a first date because you can't talk during the performance or you get told to be quiet. Kinda like the cinema, its difficult to get to know someone when you can't talk.
Dinner....i think can be a bit daunting sometimes on a first date so I've always found going for a drink works well
