im sorry to hear this but you will get over him and you will be stronger... i know it may not seem like it at the moment but you will...trust me...we've all been broken by someone at some stage...and you will be stronger like the rest of us...just take each day as it come and continue putting one foot in front of the other and before you know it a whole day will pass without you thinking of himjust look after you and your little boy and you wont go far wrong

You will get over it in time, took me a year to get over my ex now rarely do I think about her or even care about her so I`m well over it, whenever you think about him in a good way just picture the bad times, his annoying habits and big turn offs about him and you will soon be thinking you had a lucky escape

Agreed. You'll recover sooner than you realise. It took me years to get over my ex hubby after he took up with another. One day at a time is my advice.
Would like to add that men do not have an exclusive on breaking hearts... we women can do some serious damage too.

dont worry love it takes time times a healer beleive me its his loss when ur over this u will look back and say how was i so blind to be in love with a person like that i deserve a lot better i was with my ex 4 10 years away from him a couple of months and i felt the way u did my lifes so much better now wen i look back and i never taught it wud be u jus get him out of ur mind change ur pne num or any contact u have wit him and his family u just think about urself and ur child now thats all tnat matters he doesnt deserve ye well she obviously gave him a second chance as did I...no shame in that!! Thats life
Sorry to hear that your heart is broken and as has been said here only time will heal it but heres something that might help, get a pen and paper and write out a list of where he let you down, his faults, you know like the kind of man you expected him to be and where he fell short of your expectations, when you are feeling down have a look at it and thank your blessings for a lucky escape,, best of luck and hope you feel better soon,,,,

Im so sorry to hear you hurting, lara..I dont know you, but I hate to see anyone hurting like this.
Cry it out. Do whatever it takes, but "embrace the hurt", as they say...thats the only way you can then leave it at the door on the way out..
Ouch..do I remember that pain and emptyness! I fully understand you being hurt twice. I've done it 3 or 4 times and more before and I don't take myself as a fool. Brains go out the window when love comes in the door in my experience.
But like everone says, it will pass in time, hurting a wee bit less each day. For a while he'll be the last thing on your mind before you go to sleep and the first thing when you wake up in the morning...be gentle with yourself.
And I'm sure you are a deceent girl and a good person so you deserve someone who treats you the way you deserve to be treated. It really is his loss. One day you'll recognise that. I wish you well and here's a hug from an aul one nearly twice your age!

I agree, but sure as hell wouldnt come on here to tell the world, i would confide in friends or family or in her case having suicidal thoughts in a medical person
Your a mother so really you need to grow up and if you didnt reactions to your thread then you should not have put it out there
