I watched a uk documentary last night about a successful uk businessman who was a multi -millionaire ,and was looking for a wife before he reached 50 He hired a luxury villa in jamaica for three weeks and sent out flyers to beauty salons and bars etc in the ukraine inviting candidates to send him their details, as he considered the women in the ukraine to be the best choice for him Hundreds applied ,and he ended up picking 12 young ukranian girls to go on an all expenses paid holiday to the villa so he could "get to know them" There were butlers, beauticians,masseurs ,chefs, etc all on hand to pamper the girls
He suffered from a severe case of Bi-polar ,but didnt help himself by continually smoking joints all the way through the program He displayed all kinds of weird behaviour, referring to himself as a god and allah being present with him,and spent a lot of time just pacing around the villa mumbling to himself All the girls were asked at the beginning of the documentary if they would marry him if he asked them, and all said yes He even suggested that he marry three of them at once,then all 12,and the girls looked bewildered by his behaviour but were trying to keep on his goodside by agreeing with everything he said After the three weeks was up ,he ended up back in the uk where he lived at stratford- up - on -avon , alone and £250,000 lighter , the cost of the whole adventure No one took up his offer of marriage,but we did not find out if he got his monies worth It was obvious it was down to his illness ,as the successful candidate would have had a difficult life with him,regardless of the life of luxury he offered
Now i am wondering what other peoples opinions would be on this situation ?
