Here we are almost 2 weeks into March and to me, it feels like it has come so fast. I heard the old fellas say that it all goes by in a blink. I didn't understand that when I was young because when you are 10, 10 years is literally a whole lifetime which seems like forever where as by the time you hit 45 - 50, 10 years only only a fraction of your life and it seems like it goes by a lot faster.
Seems like only a few years ago I was 25 and on the beat but its been a long time since I was 25 and will only get longer. If I had my time back when I was young knowing what I know now, I would avoid the drugs, not worry about anything, and live live live while I had the energy and health to do it.
Not that I am complaining, still plenty of fun and living to do in later years too, just can't stay on the go till 5 am anymore
There were times when I worked a double shift, closed the pub, and got up to do it all over again. (Could not do this now.....Seems like only a few years ago I was 25 and on the beat but its been a long time since I was 25 and will only get longer. Time is only an illusion. There is no past present or future.
time is not linear,..so it is difficult to say at what point we are now and where we will be tomorrow. life is full of surprises. Time is a very interesting and least studied unit of our multidimensional space.
I realized the other day it's been about 40 years since the Back to the Future movies were made.

I'm in my 84th. year and still going for gold. Yes I have health issues but I deal with them ,take life as it comes and what it throws at me .
I'm still enjoying each day and any challenges that may test my resolution but can still bring a smile to someone's face and have a good laugh. I have lost many friends along the way,some younger than me so I'm feeling blessed to be honest.
As I said to you once before "Life is what you make it,and what you make it is up to you."
