I like to start off with a nice fresh healthy beginning of each day...
so I go out on the balcony and enjoy the days first cup of coffee and cigarette in the sun.. watching as people start working on their boats in the harbour wishing I was one of them..

open my eyes, think about the day i had and the day ahead, get up in bed, have my choco, check and reply to my mails and messages. tidy the house up. text my friends a good day

dealing with chemotherapy my day starts of with a cocktail of medication which predicts my moods and feelings for the day..on a good day I`ll contact all my family and friends and enjoy my time with them...on a bad day just one look in the mirror sends me back to the land of nod for the day..but just waking up to a new day is a good day and one to be thankful for...

I wake up and say a quick "thank you" for being able to... Shower, change.. wake up my little girl, give thanks for her and we play for a couple minutes before we get ready and leave the house for work and day care..
The cup of tea and breakfast comes when I get to work! Then on to CS!!

I truly believe in positive re-enforcement. So I wake up every morning and when I walk into a room with a mirror I look into it and smile. Never has it failed me that the guy in the mirror smiles back at me and it makes me feel better.

I tried that this morning and the guy in the mirror flipped me the bird. He's like that until he's had his coffee.
