I like to start off with a nice fresh healthy beginning of each day... so I go out on the balcony and enjoy the days first cup of coffee and cigarette in the sun.. watching as people start working on their boats in the harbour wishing I was one of them..
answer the phone.. if its them.. just put it aside and go back to sleep while it is still switched on.. let them ponder whether they get so much out of it that the phonebills are worth it..
This is a place where people are more inclined to talk to strangers than many other places. That leads to there being many reasons for people being here..
Personally I enjoy the multitude of opinions, views and thoughts that are revealed here. Finding similarities in some, differences in others that may or may not open my eyes further..
I didn't register here in order to be obliged to commit anything to anyone.. wish they would put a bigger disclaimer on the registration page if that's the case.. I've recently relocated and have found so many local people giving me their views on life in this country and tips on things to do. Some conversations have turned in to stimulating discussions that just feeds themselves by curiosity or the joy of growing mentally...
People have different approaches and expectations.. but isn'nt that pretty much the same if you were to meet someone out on a dancefloor or anywhere else in real life?
I find it quite interesting to just stand still and absorb what's going on around you.. observe interactions and how ripples of mood-change can transfer across a crowd..
hmm.. I ought to consider getting myself some more hobbies...
it's a bit tragic and sad where people are in such desperate need of affirmation that they would lie about themselves only to get approval.. It must somehow be eating at them unless they actually thrive on deceiving others..
Been reading some picture less profiles that has shown quite some serious thoughts from a person.. as well as read a few profiles from people with pictures that has been.. well .. nothing
Basically all religions aims for peace and understanding, fulfilment and harmony.. why even fight for a religion when the fighting itself is in conflict with the religion you're defending?
Focus on your own beliefs and less on what other people think..
there's been clashes between religious followers ever since monotheism was founded... the reason is easy enough to answer.. the methods just plain wrong...
generation after generation for at least 2000 years have struggled with the problem.. it's just now we start questioning it for real and by accusing one side for doing something to "our side" we're just prolonging the whole struggle..
we either choose no side at all, ignore the other sides and focus on our own or we are part of the problem...
never thought about it.. guess if I ever were to fear those words it is because I know something is wrong.. in a well functioning relationship where partners talk about everything I doubt those words are ever needed..
Id like her to work with anything that I cant do or knows nothing about.. which kinda leaves the field pretty open =)
As long as she feels her job is meaningful and important to her I cant see why it would matter.. I guess if she worked as a consert pianist Id get a extra bonus of having her music at home =)
Depends on what you want from another being in your life...
personality, words, thoughts and expressions can be transferred over the net.. and those are the things that will generally remain longer than beauty...
Wouldnt mind trying it... I'd be well surprised if I met the woman of my life there though.. but pretty much same chance there as anywhere else I suppose =)
