jonnt: What about those sweets that were about as big as a half crown with 2 holes in and string attached thru ,,attatch string to each hand ,,spin string tite then pull ,,sweet went round like a Buzz Saw and you could take someones nose off ..

Think thet were called a Buzz Wheel



Wizzers they were called ,,had to cut little nicks in them with your Flick Knife to surate the edges ,then use them to take off Ears and Noses ,,, eat them after you were finished ,,but they were always a bit grubby ,but still tasted good

Gosh they sound awful...anyway my Mother wouldnt have allowed me to eat anything like that....rolling on the floor laughing

Well Ive been giving this thread a bit of thought and came up with....Mint Cracknels....woohoo...anyone remember them dancing also frying pan lollies and lucky potatoes haha!

Also EE I can remember sooking those jubblie triangles white on a hot day laugh

Well Ive been giving this thread a bit of thought and came up with....Mint Cracknels....woohoo...anyone remember them also frying pan lollies and lucky potatoes haha!

Those fruity pear drops ....... and pineapple chunks .. not forgetting sherbet lemons Yum !!

They still sell iced jubblys Crystal, tho they're much smaller now, and come in a packed box ..... price isn't 6d each either laugh

Sweety cigarettes and pretend sweet tobacco - I think it was named "Spanish Gold" - so that you could play at being grown ups and hardened smokers.

They should re-introduce them. It would give the PC idiots something more useful to do than create convoluted job titles for lavatory cleaners and translate our language into meaningless gobbledy gook.
