I think yes. If someone is who they said they were online, then it's a basic courtesy to let the date run. People can be nervous, all sorts of things may have happened during their day and if you 'terminated' you may have missed that moment when one of you said something, you laughed together and things opened up.
But - liars - my instinct now is to walk. If someone purports online to be 5'8" blue eyed blonde haired and slim and a 5'2" brown eyed fat woman turns up (this happened to me) - I get an overwhelming sense that if she thinks she can lie about such fundamentals, she'll have no restraint in lying about anything and everything.
I find it unfathomable. Dating is.... there has to be some physical attraction, or potential for it. But if people choose not to display a pic it's reasonable that they should expect some "No piccy = No talky" responses.
This is the International forum and the OP is in Yorkshire - 'drugs war' seems a pretty universal bit of press reportage speak.
As for losing it? My view is that they should legalize marijuana but sell it through the same route as cigarettes - same sort of tax regime. The State gets a lot more money (some of which it can use to combat pushers) the market for pushed drugs shrinks hugely (thus a smaller problem) and they can spend more on fighting it effectively - if the link between pot and other drugs is broken, that's also a good thing. A huge amount of petty crime is due to addicts stealing to pay for their next fix - solve the addiction and you solve that too.
Not quite. British industry was (and there are parallels elsewhere) stuck up its own whatsit - with poor management and dire labour relations.
Triumph motorbikes, for example introduced a pinstripe to the saddle one year - the Japanese introduced electric starts, overhead cams, disk brakes etc. Britain lacked innovation and QC. Yes we invented a whole lot of things, but didn't actually see fit to put them in/on products.
Meanwhile British Leyland was disjointed and competing with itself and producing too many models in too many variants in 'badge engineering' and when it produced something good - it was usually engineers working in their own time that did it and under-funded and under-developed.
Japan took quality from the (mainly) US gurus and turned it into a method of production and culture. Japan invested in its industry - high capital to labour ratios: we didn't. Thatcher drove the nail home into the coffin by deciding The City was more important than industry.
I read your profile - it's full of joined up thinking and reasonableness.
I suggest you split it up into smaller paragraphs and put the bit about facial fuzz at the top in caps. The very top.
Many men and women don't read profiles and if they do not much further than the 1st few lines - it's a dating site thing. So bung the big dislike at the top maybe?
p.s. Could you tell your friend she has a fabulous tongue and that I have fallen in love with it?
Totally off topic. But to respond - Britain ceased to be a World superpower in 1942 - we are just waiting for our politicians to catch up with the news and stop following the USA into pointless unwinnable wars. On the second historical point you raised, I believe it was British settlers who beat off the Swiss mercenaries of a German king to give the US its freedom.
On the Muslim 'issue' - they represent about 4.5% of our population and pro-rata far less troublesome than right wing extremists.
Yeah right. So if anyone chips away at Americans 'Rights' to go and destroy schools full of kids with automatic weapons (as opposed to the muskets that were around when the constitution was drafted), America will fall? Just as it will go into decline if Obamacare cuts the nations overall healthcare costs substantially?
I'm glad you cleared that up. Some of us were under the illusion that it spent too much starting long costly wars since 1945, with countries that posed no direct threat, didn't control its financial sector well enough, didn't make enough capital investment, was importing what it could produce at home and hadn't got a full grip on its energy consumption. Thanks for putting us right.
1) None of the above 2) Plaid Cymru 3) Er Hello? This is an international forum and Democrat / Republican are US (that declining superpower) options only 4) I am sorry Komradski voting forbidden in my country 5) For the government of course - I wish to retain my life / limbs / relatives
Sorry I can't find a way of editing - so apologies for the 3 posts in a row. However. ...
When you clean clean the 'upstream' pipe too (that's the one on the exhaust side of the EGR Valve) because if the oil and stuff that's supposed to go back through the engine to be burnt off can't get there because the EGR valve is blocked, it will build up in the pipe. If you find the right advice online (which you will) there should be pics or vids showing you how to clean the valve out and they should include advice about this too. It really is simple to do.
I meant to add - if you clean thoroughly and the engine is in reasonable nick (i.e. no ring wear and not smoking) you might get 50,000 miles before you need to do it again. Betty (my old Rover) has done a good 40,000 miles since she last had her tubes scrubbed out with a toothbrush
I have a Rover 75 diesel and there's an option to remove these things. They gum up with oil and sooty stuff and... I cleaned mine in 10 minutes using paraffin and an old toothbrush. You may need a gasket set (or gasket compound)for when you do the job. It's usually the gunky stuff that stops the valve working properly.
as a start point - if you have the year precise model and engine type (and sometimes your registration number) it helps get the right advice. Good luck - it shouldn't be a hugely complex job.
Whereas women are always totally virtuous, never have affairs, never knowingly go out with men in relationships or marriages. Really? How does that work then?
I too think the site's a waste of time and it's best to move on and if the site got popular I could see law suits flying (as one poster pointed out it would probably be breaking all sorts of laws) and people claiming huge damages for libel and the effects of it on their lives.
I tried everything and failed until... vaping. I started off with a look-alike - it was useless. Then I got a Vamo and - I no longer smoke, I vape and am slowly cutting that down too.
Doubtless Cameron and Co will keep her out of jail. OAPs that refuse to pay hyper-inflationary Council Tax are 'fair game', but Ms Brooks is one of their own, so will probably get a slapped wrist as she was suffering from stress at the time - or similar.
Twin Towers death toll 2,996 Iraqi Civilian death toll 112,000+ If you are making a point, it is not coherent.
If the people detained in these camps are guilty - why have they not been put on trial? And why was the camp set up outside the jurisdiction of US law to circumvent US human rights legislation? These are the real questions
Of course it's possible. But she'd need a bath after she'd dug the garden, put the bins out, serviced the car and chopped the firewood. After which I'd let her take me to the pub, go to the bar and buy 50% of the drinks, put me in a taxi, take me home and have her wicked way with me :)
There's more to come. The Germans are pissed off and their research will be methodical. Very difficult to justify tapping Mrs Merkel's phone for 10 years on the basis of 'security threat'.
I can see Ed Snowden ending up with a Nobel Prize or similar (and despite all the political noise - no one's actually come up with a state secret he's revealed - what he's shown is the extent of malpractice). He'll be living in Berlin on a diplomatic passport soon
RE: What is the meaning of unconditional love.?
... and you got barred from every supermarket, fast food joint and bar in town?
