Who gets to date who?

You dancing

laugh

LOL! I don't think any of them are that desperate. Men over 50 are consigned to reading trashy novels, beer, tea & Garibaldi biscuits.

Who gets to date who?

If 90% of women in their 40s & 50s want to date men in their 20s & 30s and men in their 20s & 30s want to date older women, who do the women in their 20s & 30s get to date?

RE: Sweets from our childhood.

Sweety cigarettes and pretend sweet tobacco - I think it was named "Spanish Gold" - so that you could play at being grown ups and hardened smokers.

They should re-introduce them. It would give the PC idiots something more useful to do than create convoluted job titles for lavatory cleaners and translate our language into meaningless gobbledy gook.

RE: Ultra lightweight woman needed

It’s the Americanisation of English – they use ‘z’ where we use ‘s’ a lot of the time and due to Microsoft’s dominance in the 80s and 90s the world followed suit.

And it’s a driving licence – not license.

On the issue of inflatable women – someone’s missed a marketing opportunity – if they based them on Katie Pryce they could also double up as a comfortable chaise longue.

RE: Bloddy Sunday and Saville.............

Now it's some advert for his abilities to leap tall buildings and a criticism of people who don't burn smokeless coal. Neither of which show much respect for what happened.

RE: Sweets from our childhood.

Pineapple chunks, rhubarb & custard, pear drops, sherbet limes, chocolate limes and - Lucky Bags.

RE: Bloddy Sunday and Saville.............

That's true if it's civilian, not absolutely guaranteed if it were military. However, if there was a full and proper conclusion and justice was meted out, it could provide closure for the relatives. And if people were found guilty, there's no doubt that relatives would be able to pursue Civil Actions (should they wish to) and highly probable that they'd acquire the financial backing to do so.

RE: Bloddy Sunday and Saville.............

Given your history of tearing nothing apart excepting your own credibility, that should prove highly entertaining.

Alternatively you could get back to the subject matter. 14 people were murdered - the perpetrators have not been brought to justice. Progress has been made - but not enough.

RE: Bloddy Sunday and Saville.............

400 years of Anglo-Irish history summed up incorrectly in 1 sentence is an achievement in myopia.

In the Sovereignty referendum of 1973 over 50% of people voted to remain within the UK - despite the boycotting by certain parties. In 1998 71% of an incredibly high 81% turnout voted to support the 'Belfast Agreement'

Hey maybe there could be an enclave in Derry - with a corridor - maybe a footpath down the N5 - for the few remaining staunch separatists? Just like Berlin in the cold War?

Except the war in Northern Ireland is thankfully over for the vast majority of people. The IRA has decided that the only solutions it might achieve are political ones. These require consent and agreement.

Political consensus and cooperation also make it easier to work openly to bring justice to terrible situations like Bloody Sunday and Omagh.

RE: Bloddy Sunday and Saville.............

They shot the civvys on the civvy's own streets. As for the assertion (incorrect) that they were Irish streets. Northern Ireland is part of the UK and not Eire. Any attempt to push this thread in the direction of a separatism debate - degrades the real issues - that the paras concerned committed crimes and the dereliction of duty of the officer in charge of them.

It also demonstrates a lack of understanding of the progress that has been made in Northern Ireland in the last 10 years. In the 70s this has sectarian overtones. Talk to the majority of people in Northern Ireland today(irrespective of religious/cultural background) and you'll find that most want this resolved and justice done - just as they do for the Omagh bombing.

RE: Is my boyfriend married?

One suggestion might be:

Tell him that you were contacted by a GUM clinic - that someone you saw shortly before you met him had a bad dose of "Surrey Docks" and unfortunately both you and he need to get checked out. Oh and a few weeks later tell him that unfortunately your results were positive and see what happens.

If he's not single, it might make him end up that way.

RE: The 'Either/Or' Game...

Face cloth - I can flannel on anything.

Soap or liquid wash?

RE: What Are You Listening To?

David Gravy Babylon (Live at The Point version) an all time favourite

RE: what attracts you????????????????????

What attracts me? Something crafted, witty and cheeky, a little firtatious but not crude.

What puts me off? Txt spk, 'u look nise babe' and messages with nothing to say... such as Hi! Usually after just 'Hi' you go look at the profile and there's nothing much written there either.

But to get me really interested the above with a pic with a lovely smile that extends into the eyes. Why do people put up scowling blurred pics of themselves?

RE: IF YOU COULD PLAY A PART IN A FILM IN REAL LIFE WHAT PART & WHAT FILM WOULD YOU CHOOSE ? AND WHY ?

My eldest, when he was a little nipper used to say "I really like James Bond films, but there's a bit too much kissing. And that James Bond gets all the girls."

So..... 007?

RE: what was your worse/best date

Worst date I had was with someone who'd posted a false pic., lied about her age, weight, personality and... I must have been naive at the time - said her car was in for repairs.. so I picked her up. She wouldn't stop touching me up. I was trying to be polite, subtle, kind. I was trying to find very public places... I was trying to say...I don't fancy you one iota without being rude. In the end, after she touched me up in a cathedral, I told her where to go.

Second worst date.... er.... there was a lot of chemistry. She invited me home. There was a lot more chemistry and... we ended up in her bed. At a certain point in the ... 'proceedings'?... she let out a little yelp. At which point her Jack Russell barged through the bedroom door, leapt on to the bed and bit me on the bum.
