Tell him you don't believe his crap unless he produces a copy of the written evidence from a solicitor of his legal seperation by the next time you see him. - If he fails, just tell him to piss offf there and then and mean it.
ask him for a long weekend away,and watch his reaction you will know.

Ask him for his home phone number,if he doesn,t let you have it. I would say he is married.

If your gut instinct is that he's married then I'd say there's a good chance that he is 
If you met him online be even more wary, as married/attached men/women use the internet as a tool to find themselves a bit on the side
Also, I reckon that some married couples have open relationships or live separate lives under one roof. Because, I know of at least two who have their pics up on chat/dating sites and they have women texting and ringing them at all times, even during the night, so be very careful
If he is your boyfriend, then surely you have an idea of where he lives. Suggest that he cooks you a meal and you spend the night at his place for a change.
One suggestion might be:
Tell him that you were contacted by a GUM clinic - that someone you saw shortly before you met him had a bad dose of "Surrey Docks" and unfortunately both you and he need to get checked out. Oh and a few weeks later tell him that unfortunately your results were positive and see what happens.
If he's not single, it might make him end up that way.

So, did you find out yet if he's married or not?D12345: Not yet. He says he was, that's it's all past and says I am crazy to suspect him but I am determined to find out.

well when he says hes seperated how long is he seperated?
is their kids involved so there is a reason he be seeing the ex
not sure why you think he married but best advice is go with gut instinct as posted above ask him to do stuff that a married man finds hard to do like long weekends away
though just have a look at his flat see if any womans touches in the flat/house

It does get a bit busier during winter and christmastime though Too
to go outside so everyone hibernates on here
