i hear smoking was a good thing to start back in the day, it was glamourised in ways. that is great your will power must be strong... brillant to hear so many kicking the habit gives us smokers much hope in stopping the nicotine addiction

Used nic patches and gum, still using the gum .. just do what works for you

I don't smoke and had no trouble at all giving up years ago. In fact it was not even a conscious effort, I just stopped smoking one day, and haven't looked back.

i went cold turkey, i lasted 1 month off them a few months ago. so i am setting myself up for a total goodbye this time.
i will go to my gp and get nic patches or the gum to take the edge of the craving

I tried everything and failed until... vaping. I started off with a look-alike - it was useless. Then I got a Vamo and - I no longer smoke, I vape and am slowly cutting that down too.
