Why is when i put i don't like beards or moustaches in my profile these people still mail me?? (60)
I honestly don't think many men actually read the profile JMO

Most people don't even bother to read someone's profile.
My box gets full of people wanting to be a friend and more,yet I'm not looking ,and have put that in my profile.

It's obvious they don't.I got a friend request from a guy who's a regular poster within the forums.It states in my profile no mailing not not looking.

I read your profile - it's full of joined up thinking and reasonableness.
I suggest you split it up into smaller paragraphs and put the bit about facial fuzz at the top in caps. The very top.
Many men and women don't read profiles and if they do not much further than the 1st few lines - it's a dating site thing. So bung the big dislike at the top maybe?
p.s. Could you tell your friend she has a fabulous tongue and that I have fallen in love with it?

I think with some filter settings you can solve the problem.
The penentrating men here are either very opininionated and don´t bother about a woman´s ideas, or they are opportunists, who are just looking for anybody online.
My problem, if it is at all, as I usally don´t bother, is first-contacts that even don´t read your mail or read your mail and check your profile, but find no words to explain their denial.

So why do people look at my faceless profile and yours too I'm sure?
I think a profile is not often taken too seriously. If preferences are stated they are ignored in most cases, and this is not such a bad thing because our preferences are simply that, and may be swayed, so I guess people take a chance armed with that knowledge.
