Tulefel: A couple of weeks ago I’ve got an invitation to join an acquaintance’s friends network. I almost accepted the invitation as this is (by my impression) a decent person. Fortunately, my Antivirus was cleverer than I am, and stopped my attempt. I googled “Jhoos” and it looked like that my Antivirus guarded me from a lot of embarrassment.
I’d like to know more about the thing. Has anybody had any similar experience?

Me too, just went into the vortex tuffy.....
If you've installed it, stop the vortex, make something to eat and do a complete scan, put the virus in to quartine and delete..(jmo)

No, I haven’t installed it – my baby-girl has forbidden me to install or download anything without conferring with her first… (I’ve got no credit on the matter within my own family…
)But I’m still curious about what it is and what for one would need it…

Chances are if you downloaded it.....and you let your Anti-virus accept it...you'd end up de-installing it very soon after..As far as i know, it's a back door trojan...

Well… sad to hear as I’ve got it from a person I regard as a decent one, who wouldn’t send virus to their acquaintances… Which in its turn means that they got that virus… poor darlings…

Chances are they told you about it good faith...Just contact them and ask them to run their anti virus thingy and they should be ok (providing they keep their AV up to date)
